My Approach

I approach counseling with the understanding that behaviors are initially developed to serve a specific purpose, often to help individuals cope with challenges. My goal is to help clients recognize when these behaviors no longer serve them and to guide them in making healthier, more adaptive choices. I am committed to supporting clients in learning to navigate and express their emotions, with the belief that all emotions have value and are integral to the human experience.

With experience in treating clients facing mood disorders, role transitions, interpersonal conflicts, and trauma, I have developed a particular interest in working with individuals struggling with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, and phobias. I employ Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy as a primary therapeutic approach to treat OCD and other obsessive-compulsive related disorders, helping clients gain greater control over their thoughts and behaviors.
