My Approach

With uncertainties, transitions, crises, and loss that life may throw at us, I believe that therapy can be the extra helping hand that may be needed. It is my desire to meet those where they are and provide genuine sensitivity and compassion. The privilege is mine to assist in the exploration of strengths and abilities that my clients possess. I use a collaborative and compassionate approach to provide therapy, in an effort, to foster resilience, healing, and hope.

I use a trauma-informed approach with guidance primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Other evidence-based treatment options that I can offer consist of Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing (EMDR) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

The populations that I recently serve include children, adolescents, and adults. I have also traditionally worked with the college student population and adults struggling with life challenges and psychological issues.
